2010s–2020s

  • Added two more automated seed treating lines (alfalfa, soybean)
  • Built a second 38,400 square foot temperature controlled warehouse
  • Installed a second robotic packaging and palletizer unit
  • Added small bagging line
  • Upgraded soybean treating line to 10 dosings
  • Added box washer – cleans 40 boxes /hour
  • Launched seed services for canola seed pelleting
  • Added scan gun / mobile computer station

1990s–2000s

  • Installed two additional seed cleaning lines
  • Installed first automated treating line (canola)
  • Started working with multi-nationals
  • Installed first robotic packaging and palletizing equipment
  • Added a 34,600 square foot temperature controlled warehouse

Glenn Kletke

Glenn Kletke

Owner, President & CEO

Glenn is President, Owner and CEO. He is hands-on in every aspect of day-to-day operations and takes great pride in their products and innovations. Glenn has been in the seed coating and cleaning sector since 1980 and is an early adopter of technology that drives development of seed treatment methodologies.

He is passionate about improving his treatments and processes to produce a higher quality product. Glenn is a leader in the industry and is excited about advancements in agriculture that give him the opportunity to immerse and excel in further innovations. Glenn was a finalist for the 2017 Western EY Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Glenn loves flying his Piper PA-12 and spending time outdoors.

Maureen Kletke

Maureen Kletke

Owner, Vice President & CFO

Maureen grew up on a grain and cattle feed lot farm near Teulon. She brings many years of experience in accounting, manufacturing and production scheduling to her position of Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Kletke Seeds.

Maureen oversees all business finances. She has worked alongside her husband Glenn since 2000, and has an in-depth knowledge of the business and business planning.

Lesley Bond

Lesley Bond

Office Manager/ Production Coordinator

Lesley has farmed all of her life and she has a degree in Agriculture. Lesley has many years experience in Agriculture, both in the public and private sector. She is an ISTA authorized seed sampler as well as a CFIA authorized sampler.

Lesley is a Production Coordinator, making sure our clients receive the best service possible including scheduling work and meeting our clients needs.

Besides Agriculture Lesley has a keen interest in Aviation and has her private pilots license.

Hayley Campbell

Hayley Campbell

Office Supervisor/ Production Coordinator

Hayley started her journey at Kletke Seed Farm as an office Assistant. With her hard work and dedication to her work and our customers she has worked her way up to becoming a Production Coordinator. She is an ISTA authorized seed sampler.

Hayley grew up on local hobby, grain and cattle, farm and is happy to have found a career back in the agriculture world.

Joy Watts

Joy Watts

Accounting Administrator/ Production Coordinator

Joy has a dual role at Kletke Seed Farm.  She is both our accounting administrator and a production coordinator.  With her strong background in business administration, she makes keeping our financial house in order look easy.  Her versatility means she easily stepped into the role of production coordinator and is a strong member of the team.

Off the clock, she spends her summers at the campground – she loves glamping!  A winter past time is completing challenging 1,000 piece jigsaw puzzles.

Brooklyn Buchanan

Brooklyn Buchanan

Production Coordinator/ Accounting Assistant

Brooklyn joined the Kletke team as an office assistant.  In her role she assists in keeping our customer data up to date, prepares invoices, books appointments, and helps with payroll.  Brooklyn supports the production of canola by sampling and processing the required paperwork.

Brooklyn has exceptional customer service skills and always greets our customers with a smile.  She is the administrative support for our preventive maintenance team, she is also a certified First Aider.

Brooklyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends outside work hours.  She loves listening to music and you can often hear her singing a tune in the office.

Brittany Penwarden-Bell

Production Coordinator/ Accounting Assistant

Brittany joined the Kletke team as an office assistant.  In her role she coordinates shipping/receiving appointments, assists with invoicing and inventory, and helps with accounting.

Off the clock, Brittany enjoys spending time with her kids.

Karlie Anderson

Production Coordinator

Karlie is a production assistant. Her main responsibilities include working with the production coordinators with inventory, sampling, and administration. She is an ISTA authorized seed sampler.

Karlie grew up on a small farm in Dauphin before moving to Teulon to start a new adventure.
